The U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program encourages more efficient use of water such as with low-flow toilets, drip irrigation and on-site water reuse but there are many other areas that could be addressed. Such as efficiencies in landscape and irrigation, rainwater reuse and cooling tower water recovery.
