Water Saving Innovation is ripe for The Green Building Industry

With many states expecting freshwater shortages in their states in the next decade these shortages could present opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors to develop new water saving techniques and technologies. The U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program encourages more efficient use of water such as with low-flow toilets, drip irrigation and on-site water reuse but there are many other areas that could be addressed. Such as efficiencies in landscape and irrigation, rainwater reuse and cooling tower water recovery.
